For me being a Personal Trainer is the greatest 'job' in world. It does not feel like 'work'. Getting paid for something I genuinely enjoy doing - exercise and fitness is my hobby - and crucially making a difference to people's lives. It is a great feeling knowing I am helping, supporting and inspiring clients to change their lives and to live more active and healthy lifestyles. Today – as always – was a busy and action packed day. Lots of cycling, running, power walking and circuits including press ups, lunging and squats. Living life in the active lane. Who is up for a challenge? Who is ready to test themselves? For September, the #1MinuteChallenge is Mountain Climbers. Please see my 'Give it a Go - Mountain Climbers' exercise series. The aim of the #1MinuteChallenge is to see how many reps of an exercise you can do in 1 minute with correct form and movement. As a minimum, aim to complete the #1MinuteChallenge at least once per week. Ideally, aim to complete it 3 times per week on different days e.g. 1 minute on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Even better, commit to doing the #1MinuteChallenge once per day as a way of getting active - as many of my clients do...
